UPlay Today System
UPlay Today is UltraPlay's core modular play system built around 3 1/2 inch O.D. powder-coated uprights joined with a high-strength aluminum alloy clamp fastening system rather than welded or bolted post-and-deck connections. Decks and climbing components attach through the same clamp system, and every upright ships with factory-installed clamps set at the correct deck heights, which cuts field layout guesswork.
UltraPlay publishes that UPlay Today meets commercial ASTM F1487 performance standards and CPSC safety guidelines for materials and equipment, plus Canadian CSA and European EN play equipment standards. The uprights and steel components carry a baked-on polyester powder-coat finish over the base tubing, and the clamp hardware is engineered for repeated commercial assembly and disassembly without stripping.
For Maine and New Hampshire buyers, a clamp-based commercial system matters because it lets an installer level, adjust, and reset posts as frost heave shifts footings over a winter, without cutting welds or replacing a whole post assembly. It's a practical middle tier: full commercial code compliance for school and municipal bid specs, at a lower installed cost than heavy welded-post systems, which matters when a town rec budget has to stretch.
